Dr Paul Park has been providing locums services over the summer.  Dr. Park is a physician from Oregon, where he also owns two nightclubs.  Dr. Park loves Maui, and Maui loves him, so he’ll be returning in October. . .

Minit-Med welcomes back Tia Cabrido, after the delivery of her second child Kelton on Oahu. . .baby and mom are safe and well. . .

Dr. Lorrie Klein, on of the top dermatologists in the US, is generously donating her time to perform FREE skin cancer screenings at Minit-Medical!  Screenings will be held from 0900 - 1700 on Thursday Sept 30th.  Limit is to the first 50 people, on a first-come first-serve basis.  A triplicate form will be provided to be filled out first.  Any positive findings or referrals will be sent to Dr. Martin, Maui’s own leading dermatologist.

Dr. Klein will be holding her usual cosmetic procedure clinic the next day, Friday Oct. 1st.

Minit-Medical is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Cherie Thomas to ourgrowing practice.  Dr. Thomas is new to Maui but has experience living on Oahu.  She has been in practice over 16 years and is board certified bu the ABUCM in Urgent Care Medicine.  Dr. Thomas is now accepting new patients, to book an appointment call 667-6161.  Walk-ins welcome as always!

The state of Hawaii has released 50 more doses of the H1N1 vaccine to Minit-Medical.  Approximately 10 have already been given.  There are still a few remaining doses for pediatric ages and the intranasal vaccine as well.  Call (808) 667-6161 to book your immunization!

The first doses of the H1N1 swine flu vaccine were released to Minit-Medical today.  Our preliminary allotment includes intranasal, intramuscular, and double vaccine (regular and swine mixed).  These doses are going fast, so come in soon.  We will receive more doses TBD from the state.
